About

I am a Senior Data Engineer working for ING WBAA (Wholesale Bank Advanced Analytics) in Amsterdam, Netherlands — a Brazilian solving problems using data.

Before moving into industry, I spent several years in academia: a PhD in Computer Science at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) working on Geometric Semantic Genetic Programming, followed by postdoctoral research at UFMG and University College Cork (Ireland).

In my free time I’m learning Rust and building web applications with axum.
